Famous rapper Eminem released a new song today after 4 months of waiting and is expected to drop the new album, this song being the featuring one.
The 15 Grammy award winner was hinting at his new album for about a month now. It's been 4 months since his last single and almost 4 and a half years since his last "Original" album.
(Excluding CC2 - Eminem's biggest songs remakes)
The album was being hinted to as "The Death Of Slim Shady" and the song title, featuring the album, is "For My Last Trick" being called "Houdini".
In the trailer Eminem went on to say that he'll make his career disappear, which sounded to many, as well as to us, that he's going to retire after the new album.
However, the featuring song that came out today starts with Eminem's manager Paul Rosenberg sending Eminem a voice message about him not wanting to participate in the new album, wishing him luck and telling him that he's on his own, hinting that there's gonna be something wrong with the album, as well as the song itself.
Turns out the song is bringing back the 2002 "Slim Shady" who was extremely controversial.
The music video shows Slim Shady walking through a "2002 Portal" into the presence and looking at todays world in confusion, seeing everything, if not more than what he was parodying in the past.
The video goes on to show us today's Eminem merging with the 2002 Slim Shady rapping about some REALY touchy subjects in 2024.
The question now is...
What does this mean?
Did Eminem announce him getting canceled, but still wants to continue doing music?
Since the album is called "The Death Of Slim Shady", will the ending be him killing "Slim" and going to retirement?
Or is he just going to make a totally controversial album and than retire as he doesn't care if he gets canceled now at 51 years old?
Well we certainly hope Eminem is going to fulfill our expectations and get away with it, continuing to rap till he dies, as he says in many of his songs.
All we need to do is wait for the album to come out.
We'll keep you updated on that behalf
